The Ektelon Portable Court was set up literally on the beach with the cameras rolling. This was the first step in a project in which ESPN & ESPN2 are considering for a TV series!

The site was Venice Beach, SoCal and it captured the atmosphere of a beach boardwalk in California with a big crowd, bikini girls, and hardcore outdoor racquetball...all shot in HD (High Definition) by Royster Productions.
Fans came to see the best players in outdoor racquetball & cheer them on during a live filming session during the Labor Day weekend at famous Venice Beach, Monday, September 3rd.

Play kicked off at 10:00 am on the Ektelon portable racquetball court with the cameras rolling. Families brought friends, and their kids as everyone was treated to a full day of racquetball including watching the pro matches, junior clinics, contests & prizes.

Everyone was thrilled to be a part of this first step in a project that ESPN & ESPN2 are considering as a series and it will land the most exciting version of racquetball in the homes of sports fans everywhere.

The event was filmed on Venice Beach with the ocean just a lob serve away...every camera angle will have an ocean or beach scene in the background. The goal was to capture the atmosphere of the boardwalk, California, big crowd, girls in bikini's, and hardcore outdoor racquetball...all shot in HD.
A professional Muscle Beach competition was also taking place the same weekend just steps away.

At the end of the day it was the new super power doubles team of Josh Tucker and Son Nguyen taking the crown.
