USA Racquetball Announces Collins as U.S. Junior Team Head Coach

USA Racquetball is pleased to announce that Robert “Robbie” Collins of Kapolei, Hawaii, has been named the U.S. Junior National Racquetball Team Head Coach, effective June 16, 2024.

After earning a B.A. in Psychology & Ethnic Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (Honolulu) in 2012, Collins has built a successful career over the past 12 years as a private racquetball instructor, professional racquetball player (currently IRT #17), and club racquetball manager (Stockton and Fremont, CA). He holds an ACSM-CPT certification as a Certified Personal Trainer.

Robbie’s experience also includes contributions as a volunteer coach for Stockton’s Junior program and as a U.S. Junior Team Assistant Coach (2017-2021). He leads and teaches a junior program at the Honolulu Racquetball Club.

“Becoming the Head Coach of the U.S. Junior National Racquetball Team is one of the biggest honors of my racquetball career,” said Collins. “I will do my best to coach the team to perform at the highest level and represent the USA with integrity. Go USA!!” 

Robbie is looking forward to meeting or reconnecting next week with 140 Junior athletes, many of whom will be competing for a spot on the 2024-2025 U.S. Junior Team at the USA Racquetball Junior National Festival & Championships at Bay Club Pleasanton in Pleasanton, California, June 26-30, 2024.
