USA Racquetball Reminder Regarding SafeSport and MAAPP

Share:

by USA Racquetball

USA Racquetball’s top priority continues to be creating a safe, healthy and positive environment free from abuse for all of our members. As part of our commitment to safeguard athletes, USA Racquetball requires certain members to be SafeSport-certified. Certification requires taking a training course and then refreshers every year. We encourage our members (and interested non-members) to take advantage of the free trainings for parents, adult athletes, coaches, and administrators. More information on this can be found here: https://www.usaracquetball.com/safesport

The SafeSport Code can be found here: https://uscenterforsafesport.org/response-and-resolution/safesport-code/

USA Racquetball has also approved a Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) applicable to all members. Please read this article and visit the provided links to learn more about the updated policies including how to report violations of sexual, emotional, and physical misconduct or violations of the USA Racquetball Safe Sport Handbook, which includes the MAAPP.

Per the U.S. Center for SafeSport (the “Center”) requirements, USA Racquetball’s updated Response and Resolution Process has been posted here (https://www.usaracquetball.com/navigation/safesport/safesport-response-resolution-process)
